I have a nest box camera and have seen that a blue tit has come and stayed overnight the last 4 nights.
I'm just wondering if it stays over winter, can I clean the box of poop prior to spring as it will be full of it by then and I don't know if it will put it off nesting in there.
The bird comes just as it's getting dark and leaves again at dawn. It doesn't tend to return during the day so I could potentially clean it whilst it's out, but I don't want to do anything that will upset it or put it off wanting to nest there.
