Can anyone tell me what this bird of prey is please , it was in my garden yesterday

It's a Sparrowhawk - a female by the size and colouration.

Ditto on sparrowhawk.

I can't say what it was but it did look to large for a Sparrowhawk so it threw me a bit , many thanks for reply .
