  • Lovely colours of Sunflowers, especially the first one. A nice pink Dahlia. What is the bonny white flower called, had a Google and can't see anything. I noticed just today that the cyclamen I have in a tub have started to bud again.
Note to self, remember to water that tub! It is in the porch, so always forget on it.

  • It's Acidanthera CL a bulb which flowers late in the season!

  • Don't really know Robbo, I only grew them for their showy qualities, I did end up feeding them to a couple of Cabbage Moth larvae I was rearing after finding them munching the flowers! Don't have them this year, have a potful of Gladioli instead plus 3 new varieties of Sunflower!   Should have had some Mediterranean Bells but the bulbs failed ... they definitely are bee magnets!

  • Normally come back fine if kept frost free or lifted, dried then replanted in Spring but mine got frosted badly this year as I took a chance & left them out ... usually very mild here but lost a lot of stuff this year!

  • That is one very nice and tidy garden SK2, someone has been busy. It is nice to see colour starting to appear now.

    Thanks CL...
Lawns not nearly as even as they look, though they are weed free,, the shrubbery I try and keep under control through the autumn winter, with very light trimming Jan/ Feb...

The red on the Pieris Forest Flame has been stunning this year, hoping that will lead on to the lovely bunches of 'Lily of the valley' type clusters. If we ever get any warm sunshine Doh!!!

  •   Hi Mike & everyone. A few (of many) fragrant violets I found in the garden at my work. Their time was in April , already.
