Vote for your favourite RSPB book

Hello everyone

The RSPB sell a range of books about birds, nature and wildlife in general, you can view the range here. We want to know which is your favourite so below you will find five of our popular titles, please vote for your favourite. We don't expect you all to have every title but if you own one or more then we would be really interested to hear your comments about them.

If you can think of any other books RSPB sell which you think deserve a mention, your comments will be appreciated!

  • I've voted for the 'RSPB Handbook of Garden Wildlife' but, had it been on the list, 'RSPB Gardening for Wildlife' by Adrian Thomas, would have got my cross, well dot acutally.  Not because we helped to edit some of the sections - honest - but because it is really good, used frequently in Wildlife Enquiries and clearly demonstrates that wildlife gardening is suitable for all of us.  Check Adrian's blog in Gardening for Wildlife, for all the latest news and, don't lose your vote!  The poll closes today.

Me too! Funnily enough, I bought that book and the RSPB Handbook of British Birds last night from Peter Holden as he gave us an *EXCELLENT* talk at the Shropshire Ornithological Society meeting! He very kindly signed them for me too!

  • Good to hear Marjus.

A bonus to get Peter to sign them too. He really is a great speaker and a very nice chap.  I wonder how many will remember him on Springwatch or was it called Bird in the Nest then?  This was many years ago but he always seemed to get on really well with Bill Oddie.
