Vote for your favourite RSPB book

I voted for the RSPB Handbook Of British Birds but also I have found the following title to be very useful, although it isn't an RSPB book, but people might find it of use. I tend to leave the RSPB Handbook at home but take this one out with me as it uses photographs rather than illustrations and is similar to the RSPB Handbook. it's called: A field Guide to The Birds Of The British Isles by Elizabeth Balmer.

I haven't seen it around for a while so not sure if you can still get hold of a copy. We obtained one from a local 'The Works' shop when it was sold in a box together with a cheap pair of binoculars. The binocs were poor but the book was great lol.

Pocket guide - got as a present

Handbook - got 20% off

Nature of Britain - got it for 4 quid!

Birdfeeder handbook - 3 quid from charity shop

Year book - 2 quid from charity shop!

I haven't got any of the books listed. I have, however, got aiki's book British Birds of Prey which is ab fab. It's beautifully written and very informative with stunning images. I treated myself for Christmas.

I don't have any of the ones listed, but I do have RSPB British Birds of Prey and RSPB guide to Digital Wildlife photography. I would recommend both.
