Welcome to the RSPB Communities Christmas Advent calendar! Rather than chocolates (sorry), with each day that leads up to the big day, why not open a virtual Advent calendar window and reveal a teaser for you to ponder or post a picture. There is no right or wrong answer, the answers will simply be what you want to appear in that window. It’s Christmas, so let’s have some fun!Claire
I think I might like to be very pampered cat LOL
Re yesterdays question: I can't name a fav-cam - like them all. But a Seili osp-cam here in Finland has a special place in my heart for beeing my first ever :) And one can see other birds there especially this time of year. Here is a visitor who sits there right now as I write this mssg

Osprey sounds good, summer in the wonderful Scottish Highlands and winter in the African sunshine living on fish.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Snow Leopard for me....harsh environment but what a life patrolling that landscape!
I'd like to be any animal that hibernates for the winter period lol .......
but then again, think of all that snow scenery I would miss ! Think I'll be a small pampered pooch instead :) with my own diamond collar and handbag for shopping trips lol

Hmm, something at the top of the food chain might be advisable. I think an Orca would suit - they look good, seem to have some brains, a decent life span and nothing really in the way of natural enemies.
"Let loose the Kraken!"
I would like to be a Golden Eagle, looking down hovering miles above and looking at the countryside miles below.

Ian.
A horse. They're magnificent, clever and they have a great sense of humour. They're also very beautiful, strong and above all give adults and children lots of love and enjoyment.
As you can see from the photos our daughter would totally agree with this.
"Birds are, quite simply, little miracles - and as such they require care and consideration."

Why the long face?
OH wants to be a cat, as long as it's owners are as soft as us.
Me, I'd like to be a male cuckoo, I mean he doesn't do much does he???????
Best wishes

I would have to be a bear. I want to hibernate and wake up when it is spring. I would like a nice hare to wake me up on christmas day though :)
