Hi all,
We are new to this forum lark but having looked around a bit everyone seems very helpful and friendly so we thought we would say hello. We see we are not the only ones receiving visits from Fieldfares and Redwings over this harsh winter (although being a bit of a novice we thought we were imagining them at first!!) - We were lucky enough to capture Mr Fieldfare on video and he doesn't disappoint.
We spent last saturday at Rutland Water not seeing much at all but when I get the hang of things I may be able to post some grainy shots!
We look forward to posting some 'help - what have I seen here' type posts soon

Hello Nick and Jo, welcome. :-)
Welcome Nick and Jo, it's great to have you both join us. I look forward to chatting with you.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hello Nick and Jo,
Welcome from me. I also look forward to your posts - and pictures. I'm sure you will enjoy the forum, as the others have said, we are a friendly bunch.
Cheers, Linda.
