How do I get Skylarks in a location protected?
Extremely difficult and a lot of their habitat will continue to be lost. There are often breeding colonies on areas being developed for housing estates. 'Brownfield' or 'derelict land'. It may be possible to protect skylark sites for a few months but that's about the max IMO, unless there are more rare species there too.
