Have been observing a pair of red kites last two days in west winch kings Lynn Norfolk, very familiar with these beautiful birds of prey but have never seen them in west Norfolk at all. Absolutely beautiful just watching them play as it's quite breezy.
We had a pair soar over frequently when we lived in Cambridge and came to know when they were overhead by their call. Now we are in Lincoln and last year heard a familiar sound and after a little searching the sky saw a pair, have heard/seen them quite often since, lovely site to see.
