Hi
Just wanted to report white juvenile starling in Washingborough (next to Lincoln!), first seen Tuesday 21st May 2024 and again Weds 22nd, first visited with parent and other juveniles that visit the garden on mass for mealworms.
Amazing to have this visitor, can't quite see if it's eye is pink, if so then could be an albino, BTO collect records of birds with unusual plumage ...

Unfortunately couldn't get a close up picture to check its eyes, as we are keeping watch for it to appear again and if it does may be able to check its eye colour. After doing some research, one place (cant remember which website) said beaks are always brown, which this ones' isnt.
Anyway, we count ourselves lucky to see it.
Look forward to seeing more pictures!
Unfortunately it has not been back since, but I have found out is frequenting a garden in the next village by another avid bird feeder.
