Good Morning all,
I was sat watching our feeders this weekend with a nice brew (what could be better?) and spotted a blue tit which seemed particularly jittery. After watching it for quite some time, it would appear that it seems to have constant tics/spasms and when it is flying to approach feeders, it is seeming to flutter its wings rather a lot, rather than just gliding in like the other blue tits/birds. It is still feeding and does not seem to be 'puffed up' or lethargic.
I have never seen this before and wondered if this is something to be concerned about with regard to bird diseases. We regularly clean the feeders/birdbaths to hopefully help stop the spread of anything.
If anyone could advise that would be great
Managed to upload a clip here now:

To post a video on here it's best to upload to YouTube first then post the link on here...is your bluetit perhaps a youngster they te d to flap their wings like mad to be fed by the adults...just a thought until we get to see the video ;-)
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Thank you, I have popped it on Youtube but the quality is not the best and as I grabbed my phone quickly I forgo to pop it in Landscape. Here is the link. https://youtube.com/shorts/0sHit-1pryU?feature=share
I don't think it is a youngster as there are no adults about and it is feeding itself. The fluttering of the wings is when it is in flight approaching the feeders or landing spot. When it is sat, and another bird approaches it does not show the same wing fluttering and chirping as a mother and baby/juvenile.
