It's a terrible shot, but it's quite dark out, late for birds in fact. Had all sorts this year, spotted woodpeckers, blue, great, longtail tits, finches. But just can't figure out what this was. Any ideas? Beak looks a little unusual for average garden bird too. a20241231_155708.mp4a little late for birds in fact.
Sorry Fuzz, can't make it out. This bump might help it be spotted by others
I must admit I have watched this video loads of times now and all I can see is a blue tit going by markings or maybe that's just what my eyes want me to believe . I think the leaves on the tree in the background make the bird appear larger than it is but that's just through my dodgy eyes
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
That’s what I thought too.
I agree with the others. All I can see is a blue tit on a feeder.
Thanks all. I see bliebtots and great tits here all the time, and I'm certain it wasn't. The only still photo (though still blurry) I have. Hope it helps.
