I am new to this forum though a long standing RSPB member. I garden with wildlife in mind which in the main means no chemicals and plants that attract insects and this seems to be working. I also like to try and photograph the wildlife that comes to visit or even live in our small patch of greenery. I am lucky enough to live on the edge of a village with open space to the side of me allowing creatures to come and go safely.
A couple of weeks ago we spent a weekend in the Eden Valley in Cumbria and was lucky enough to get a shot of a Treecreeper, a bird I have been trying to capture for years! Hope you like it... Camera is a Sony RX10iv Bridge Camera for those interested.

Oh I am a very lazy photographer Clive and it would hurt my brain too much to faff about with lenses and settings ....point and press ...maybe a couple of tweaks....also have Nikon P950 for very long range ;-)
Thanks William - Yes I not only carted my Canon plus lenses I also had a video camera as well! I tried all sorts of bags and backpacks but it became far too much weight and too time consuming getting what I needed out of the bag when I needed it. The Sony does both, has 24-600mm f2.4/f4 zoom and better still, can do both video and stills at the same time - though it cannot manage the data of 4K and RAW at the same time, only HD and jpeg. However it has been handy at airshows and capturing holiday moments! The only downside is the video picks up zoom noise and my breathing.
