Red Kite in Norfolk ?

Driving in Cockley Cley area today and pretty sure that we saw a Red Kite. Stopped the car and observed for 5 to 10 minutes noting all of its attributes. Wonderful display. Is this exceptional for Norfolk ?

Hi-

Red Kites pass thru Norfolk in Spring heading to ( presumably) Scandinavia. Others are spreading into the county from the re-introduction scheme. Saw one south of Cley a few weeks back.

We hear the Red Kites calling almost every day out on our dog walks near Granny Bards Lane on the Heggatt estate . They must be nesting in the woods there. I checked their call against my bird call app…..and sure enough…Red Kite for sure.
