I needed a new set- my old Velbon carbon fibres have had it
I got some LEOFOTO from a certain place in North Norfolk
They are quite long even when closed up - in fact I don't need to drop the lowest sections to use them so they are supremely stable for scope and digi- bits:)
What I haven't done is try fitting them in my luggage for foreign trips yet:
Due to their assembly system I can't easily remove the 20 year old Manfrotto head that is screwed onto the top:There is no central pillar down between the legs which is odd- so therefore no place to attach my scope strap in its usual place- working on that:
There is a 10 year warranty as well:
