What bird is this?

I was watching my garden for some robins, when a small brown bird about the size of a Robin sat on my lawn. The robin tried to chase it away but it stayed and the robin flew away. Here is an image:( sorry for poor image quality)

They are a fairly common bird found over most of the UK, towns and countryside.

As the other Tony says, a very common garden bird. They often go unnoticed because they skulk about under shrubs and the like.
