Can anybody recommend a good beginners’ guide book for woodland birds? In live in the south of England and my garden backs onto woodland. I sometimes only get a distant fleeting glance, so comprehensive detail about size/profile seems important. Not being able to peruse their content online, recommendations would really be appreciated.
