Thanks, Shane, I'll try that. Claire
Hi Claire
Hope it works for you.
Actually there's a little more work to do if you want to make the link clickable as in Shane's example.
After you've pasted the link in your post, highlight it by dragging the mouse cursor across it. Then click on the little icon that looks like a paper clip. This will open a new dialog box. Paste the link into the first box. The second box drop down menu allows you to choose whether the link opens on the same page or on a new page. When done click on Insert.
Actually, you can highlight any word in your post to use as the key as long as you paste the link in the dialog box.
Hope this makes sense.
Regards TJ

Hi TJ
I didnt have to any of the things you said it was a simple copy and paste and it worked fine? Doe's it depend on what windows you are running do you think?
Sometimes it makes it a "hot" link sometimes it doesn't .. another one of those curiosities of the message board! ;o)

Hi Shane
That's interesting. If I do what you said I just get an unhighlighted link. I am using Windows XP but I can't believe that would make a difference. Don't you use the "paperclip" icon at all? Perhaps you've found a simpler way to do it.
TJ
Im on vista and it really is as simple as cut and paste, I have no idea where the paperclip icon comes into it lol, all very strange.,

Hi, Thanks TJ - I have not tried any of your or Shane's suggestions yet - but would your advice be the same in regard to Macs?
