I was going to send the automated email to my MP but noticed that the line that begins "If the higher level....." ends with ".....extinction for twite....." Is "twite" correct, or a typo error?

Thankyou for drawing our attention to the Twite plight - yes that is a name of a bird in question.
Anyway I will do my thing for the safeguard of all birds which I love, as I have done since I was kneehigh.

Twites are pretty scarce and conservation action is heavily dependant on actions available to us and to landowners under Higher Level Stewardship. Thank you for your answer and all the information that is of interest to us here.
It is sad that Twites are declining so much as they are and it is good that their is a strong support for them as birds. They need a place to be in their lives, and we as people need to give them the right environment to live and breed,
