Newbie to the forum :)

Hi all, just thought I'd be neighbourly and introduce myself before I start jumping on other posts. My hubby & I have both been members of RSPB for a few years now and love all birds although we have a wee soft spot for herons. We moved to our home in Sept '11 and the garden in this one was totally bare of any plants and trees so we had no birds at all, even though we live on the cliffs next to the sea. Our previous garden was overrun with birds so it was a big miss to us. Last year we planted as many bushes, shrubs, plants etc as we could as well as 3 rowan, 1 apple and 2 conifer trees so we're starting to attract one or two in about now. We've still a long way to go with the garden this year, lots more to plant but hopefully it'll be worth it in the long run and we'll get some great wildlife in about. Anyway, enough rambling. Looking forward to all you pictures & posts. Mama
