I fully understand the post and it contains some very useful advice and information.

All RSPB Members - please be reassured that you may copy, save and print for personal use as well as post my wildlife images with or without my copyright notice on this forum or any other wildlife forum. All I ask is that they are not sold on without my permission or used in any negative manner towards myself, the wildlife subject or any wildlife organisation.
I hope you all enjoy my hobby which is taking wildlife photos when and where ever I get the chance.
Cheers
Richard

Thanks, Richard - that's most appreciated and very kind of you.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
That is a very nice gesture, Richard.
I would imagine that it must be distressing to see any of your pictures for sale on the net through a third-party. I would also imagine that it must be quite annoying if you were to see one of your pictures displayed by someone claiming it as their own.
My Pleasure.
And yes it can be frustrating if my images are found to have been "taken" by someone else.
