Thank you, yes I do that, but now although it underlines incorrect spelling in red, no list of suggestions or corrections appear

Hi, left or right click has the same result-underlined but no list of suggested spellings

Thanks again, don't really want to do technical stuff at the moment- but I've thought of a solution--I will learn to spell!!

I seem to be losing it re. spelling,these days.I open a new tab & use the search box as my spell check......`did you mean cheque`....it replies for example.Or just look at the results.

I also type my version of the word in Google and hey presto!
