hi to all
im a new member to this and have been looking in the job vacancies on the r.s.p.b site for ages and would like some advice on this please.
just about myself incase this helps anyone: i can identify birds and wildlife whether in flight by song or on the ground or there eggs. i can work with wood and can make bird-wildlife boxes and bird tables and can work very well with power tools as own my own and can help others in knowing what birds are and wildlife. i know what habitats will help many wildlife that are sadly diminishing.
i dont know where to start or who to go to with help in wildlife.
many thanks
andy

i hope so i love wildlife and especially birds plus keep chickens and aviary birds and had many different kinds over the years which they give me pleasure when making there nests and rearing there young and feeding them and watching them grow and produce young the following year. even greater fun is watching the birds around pairing up and the dawn chorus and watching there young grow. hearing the buzzards high in the sky calling and there young playing in the sky and the odd peregrine dropping from the sky or flying low along the hedge line. so much to see even in your garden and just sitting there quiet and looking up in the skies and watching many birds that you even realise that were if not out there looking. people dont even no that there is so much around if only sat still and kept there eyes n ears open.
Hi Noah,
Certainly the best way to find out about existing job vacancies is to keep an eye on our website. Volunteering opportunities are also advertised. Do read the blog here about conservation jobs here. If you have emailed us in the past (apologies for us not getting back to you) and still have that email, please do forward it to wildlife@rspb.org.uk and I will forward this to the relevant department.Claire
Hi Claire
I have looked through my emails that I had sent to the R.S.P.B but I must of deleted them so will try again or would it be easier to talk to someone?
I understand how busy you all are. I have sent you a message on the friend request which might be easier to discuss things. I'm not far from Sandy H.Q as live near Letchworth so around 10 miles away from Sandy. I often pass The Lodge as use the vets at Deepdale which is less than a mile away from The Lodge. Thank You so much for helping.
Hi Andy, have a look at this page of the website too, it is aimed at school/college leavers, but the principals are the same and it gives lots of useful information. Do send me an email if you have specific questions and I can track down the appropriate department, it may be something out personnel department or volunteering department can help with.Claire
