We're pleased to announce that you can now add YouTube videos to forum posts.
To do this, click the film strip icon just above the post body. This will popup a small window. Paste the YouTube link into the box and click the Insert button.
Note: The link must be to youtube.com, not the shorter youtu.be style link.
Here is the end result:

Is that the green photo icon? The Insert Image box? I don't see another green film strip icon
Best wishes Chris

It works perfectly well using the Green Photo icon box. Go to the YouTube Video, right click on it and "copy the Video URL", then paste it into the URL Tab of the Green Photo Icon box. I'm not sure if that worked before but it does now.
It's good to get into the habit of checking Preview to make sure it's worked before posting and that goes for photos and videos
Treat is as a photo, but use the URL Tab in the Insert Image box. It's become much more simple, and if Graham did that then it's great Graham.

Hi doggie
It seems unnecessary to have 2 icons that both do the same job
Testing the width...

Testing the width... result.
So the system manages to reduce the width of the embedded video to 500px - good!
However, when this same video was posted to a blog, it stayed at the standard (for YouTube) 580px, and so some of it is hidden. No so good.
Sorry - 560, not 580px.
