Was just looking through posts and as has been said by quite a few, it would be nice to know who started the thread?
So as we have had to come up with solutions for other aspects of the new forum. I suddenly thought that we could solve this ourselves - pop our forum name at the start of the thread, bingo, you know who started the thread. I know this is a simple idea + that the mods are looking at many of the ideas thatb we have suggested to make things easier here but in the mean time this might work.
So what do others think? Is this a good idea or just a bit daft? Just an idea that can easily be ignored if folk would prefere.

Good idea with the start 'name' as it tells you it is a new thread too!
It makes it easier to see the difference between the new threads and the old threads

No you don't look like a stalker Lolly. Thanks all for your support!! Glad that folk think this is a good idea. Thrilled to see folk using it - good to know who started the threads. Thanks for the good idea wishes. Doggie you're right sometimes it is the simplest ideas.

Thats v kind of you Sparrow!! Thanks!!
Just thought that I'd bump this up in case others hadn't seen. Seems to work when folk use the idea. Hope others might like it.
Well I'm using the idea, and so are a few others, so I'll bump it up again.
Hi All,
Please could you not put your names in thread titles. This will affect search results and generally end up as a major headache for all. The usernames will be removed by moderators asap. Secondly, the only available solution to this problem is to show the avatars next to the threads. This is all the software can do. We hope this helps to show who started the thread.
Many thanks for your patience.
