Putting photos into replies?

Hi stoat

Once you're in the rich formatting page, and you have clicked on the green square button to add a photograph you decide whether to upload the photo from your PC, a site search or a web-site.

Once you clicked the green icon and have the box up, you click on Browse to find the photo, then when you click on Open to load the photo, you just have to sit and wait patiently until the Italicised Text showing the photo details in the box turns to normal text and the green bar beside the text fills and says Uploaded, only then you can press Insert to paste it into your post.

Ignore the size box, it makes no difference. The bigger the photo the longer it takes to upload and it's resized anyway. So you can crop them and reduce them in size to upload quicker if you like.

Nor me now - I thought it had worked but I have got it to work elsewhere so thanks all.   It was meant to be a photo of a hare I took last week.

I don't know whether it comes to the same thing, but after clicking on rich formatting I click on options - which gives an option to load a file either from your computer or URL.  There is also a preview tab so you can check things out before you post.

Hi Claire

Yes it comes to the same thing when you're adding a photo. The box that comes up when you click on the green icon gives you 3 options for where to get it from
