Hi guys I know a few of you here are using firefox, did you know that if you install the language pack, you automatically get a spellchecker?
the best bit is this spell checker works on the quick reply box, just highlight the word then right click and you get the correct spelling and suggestions
Go on, try it, you know you want too :)

It's both what you do and the way that you do it!

Yep, I use it already. Just make sure you install the British (English) dictionary. One of many good add-ons from Firefox. Here are all the add-ons.

It only works sometimes with me.
More often when I right click on the misspelled word, I get the cut/copy & paste box overlaying the suggested alternative spellings. What am I doing wrong?

Can't say I've seen that, the spelling options are always at the top for me, it has to be live text though. As in you in the quick reply box typing an answer or a new post.
What version of firefox are you running? you could try uninstalling, clearing your cache and reinstalling the dictionary, it sounds like your layouts are slightyly out. Are your using a zoom view?
