Since people seem to be having trouble finding the old sections of the forum, I figured I'd put up a "map" of where the old sections are so here goes (hopefully I won't get lost!)

There's also a special forum for Wales under Get Involved > We Love Wales!
To return to the Main community homepage - just click the RSPB logo/Community icon at the top left of the corner. This used to take you to the main RSPB page, but now will just take you straight back to the community home page :-)
Hope this helps a few people find some lost sections of the forum! I think I have all the ones in the old forum listed :-)

Can someone please tell me why Places to Visit doesn't link to Reserve home pages? This is deeply unintuitive. Why is there no navigation between the two? Community appears to be a navigational black hole from which nothing escapes!
Yes I do not know much about PCs and forums but would be advantage to go to home page of Reserves, good suggestion Dom.
Hi RSPB Techies
I'm still struggling with this forum layout and I'm sorry to say it's not as good as the previous version.
The layout does not lend itself easily to being able to navigate around the different areas of the site as the previous opening page. In fact it is virtually impossible.
The forum text windows are far too small to be able to read easily.
The avitar are far too small to be able to see the images and what has happened to the "good eggs" ?
Finding the forum tab is sometime pure chance and it would be useful to have it on the opening page of the website.

Additionally it would be good to easily find the following forum Topic:
All Creature
Identify This
Tea Room
Where To Watch Wildlife
Wildlife In The Garden
as well as the other Topic Areas.
Richard, hello not seen you for a while.
There is no forum link on the default landing page, but if you use this link most threads are available.

Exactly - I can't get on with this forum layout AND there should be a forum link on the opening page as well as links to the sub-forums for anyone to click without having to ask how do find them.
Hi Richard,
Welcome back - wherever you have been!
I don't understand what you mean when you say "there should be a forum link on the opening page as well as links to the sub-forums"
Which of the many forums are you referring to? Which opening page?
There are blue navigation tabs at the top of the main Community page, linking to the main sections that each contain various forums.
Cheers, Linda.
