Welcome back everyone, the site upgrade has so far been successful and we have brought it back online early! Hopefully you will all be able to have a good look round and get a feel for the new layout.
When you get to the Community home page you will notice the blue bar along the top, most categories on this have drop down menus which will lead you to the various forums and blogs related to the specific topics. All of the original content will still be accessible but you may notice a few things have been moved around and will look slightly different. We will be explaining these changes as we go over the next few days.
Feel free to post away and we hope that you will enjoy using the new site!

Thankyou Ian for the update and please guys, lets be a bit patient.

Couldn't agree more Sheena!
We were all gobsmacked at first. We all thought it was awful, but as time passes and after a bit of practice, it all falls into place. Personally, I have sorted how to make the best use of the main Community page by using the filters. It's no different now from the old one apart from the addition of the Group forums, especially after today's amendments. I don't use the blue tabs/chat/wildlife pages unless I actually want to start a new thread or look in the galleries.
Have faith!
Cheers, Linda.

Hi TJ
This particular glitch has me beat. I don't know why it's not the same for everyone.
Could it really be the differences between IE, Firefox & Chrome?
Best wishes Chris

I think its more the underlying os rather than the browser, and how upto date it is
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!

I don't think it is, Chris. We went through all the possibilities a few days ago, but there was no pattern at all. I use IE8 with Windows XP Home, and its the same if I swap over to Firefox and Chrome. I see Americanised dates, despite having every setting on my computer set to UK (English). It's a mystery.
still can't edit.....
As I was saying I think its the underlying os and the way the server see's it.
My theory is it is reading the date/time in US and returning a GB time/date, The people who are having the issue it can't read the us time date for whatever reason and therefore returns us time..
So why doesn't it do this on other websites I use?
I see my date and time normal too :0) and i am now liking the site much better.
My thanks to Ian and the guys for doing their best and all the members who have stuck it out and helped each other through the mayem.
Group hug from me :0)

most sites use the time on the server..... it avoids this sort of thing
