Welcome back everyone, the site upgrade has so far been successful and we have brought it back online early! Hopefully you will all be able to have a good look round and get a feel for the new layout.
When you get to the Community home page you will notice the blue bar along the top, most categories on this have drop down menus which will lead you to the various forums and blogs related to the specific topics. All of the original content will still be accessible but you may notice a few things have been moved around and will look slightly different. We will be explaining these changes as we go over the next few days.
Feel free to post away and we hope that you will enjoy using the new site!

Hi Jenny,
It works for me if I click the blue WILDLIFE tab at the top, and wait a few seconds for it to upload.
Cheers, Linda.

I feel bad for the mods and techies getting us all moaning about the new layout. They tried to make it better for us and I'm sure if everyone is on as much as they were before everyone will get used to it eventually. I dont disagree there are some teething problems to be ironed out but stick with it guys, we'll all get there :)
Cheers

Is it possible to change the date format to DD-MM-YYYY?
I'm puzzled by the date format issue. I am only seeing dates in the format "20 May 2011", which is fine by me.
I tried using different browsers (IE9 and Google Chrome) but that made no difference. Where exactly are you seeing these American format dates?

That's bizarre - it still looks normal i.e. as described above - to me.

Just a thought but do you have Standard User theme checked on your profile page?
Otherwise this might be something to do with options you have selected for your browser
Here the date shows as American version. On the site activity page it shows as Friday 20 May etc
