On Saturday 30th July campaigning organisation 38 Degrees and the charity Campaign for National Parks are celebrating our nation’s most beautiful landscapes. They're hosting free organised walks and natural art workshops at every national park in England, Scotland and Wales.
80 years ago a group of people came together to launch a campaign get these magnificent places protected. These events across the country celebrate this incredible achievement, and the things that can be done when people work together. The theme for the events is 'inspired by nature', and brings together experts from the natural world as well as the arts.
38 Degrees and Campaign for National Parks host a series of guided walks and ‘art in nature’ workshops (curated by land artist Richard Shilling) in every national park in England, Scotland and Wales. Join us to enjoy the sheer beauty of our national parks, together.
Please bring some appropriate footwear and a packed lunch.
Locations include: Brecon Beacons, Broads, Cairngorms, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Lake District, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, New Forest, Northumberland, North York Moors, Peak District, Pembrokeshire Coast, Snowdonia, South Downs, Yorkshire Dales.
