Help! I'm getting this page very frequently:
I should mention that typing my user name or my email address has no effect whatsoever, though happily the cancel button works.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I should also mention that the cancel button doesn't always work - but happily once I hit F5 it does!!!
So it's not just me then? Been having this since yesterday morning after the RSPB overnight admin work. Tried all the same things as you and have adopted a "grin and bear it" attitude until the workaround is made known or a more permanent fix affected.

Can I enquire as to what browser folk are using? If it is possible, can another browser be used to see if you run into the same problem...
Hi, Claire - I'm using Opera.
EDIT: The problem seems to have stopped.
As with Clare the "feature" seems to have hibernated. But for the record in XP I use IceDragon, in Windows 7 I use IceDragon or Foxy Bingo - sorry Firefox, and in Linux it is Firefox. It happens in all 3 OS's.
It happened to me twice in the first day after the recent shutdown but not since ... I use Google chrome!
