Magpies are definitely partial to raiding a nest for both eggs and chicks, however they probably cannot access a nest box with a small entrance so this probably won't happen. Their presence may still put off any other birds from using it though so it might be a bit of an experiment to see what happens....I guess there are no guarantees!
