can anyone help me, when I log in to this site I have ticked the little box that says " sign me in automatically " but it doesnt,I have to input my details every time,am I doing something wrong?

I dont know the answer to that but each time the password boxes come up even though my computer is set up to fill it automatically. Seymouraves may have given me a work around.

I don't understand.
I have a shortcut icon on my desk top that takes me straight to the Community's (forum) first page. I never even see the password boxes unless I clear the cookies.

I kept logged on last night and it worked still on the sight.
Yesterday I was having to change my password to get on here :-(
This is one weird site just as you get used to it thats when it throws a wobbley.

Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
If I try to log in from the community page no joy at all just keeps throwing me back to the login page for user ID and PW. If I log in from the home page no problems at all.
Strange that
I have done what Sparrow has (good grammer!!!) and bookmarked the Community home page with me logged in then from there sent a shortcut to my desktop now all I do is double click and I bypass ID & PW page :)
This year's log in in definitley a bore. I have been a member but maybe not this year. I have filled in Bird Watch on line for fives yaers or more and it does not recognise me. Then fields wanted are not obvious, re address details plus MUST have a nickname etc etc. A load of software cods when all I want to do is report my sightings. It has taken far too long this year. May not bother next year.
