When we have read the posts we will try to add a quick edit message to acknowledge that the fault has been logged which basically means that the guys behind the scenes are on it and looking for a way to fix it!
Warden Intern at Otmoor.
I think everyone should be happy if things are made public outside of Pms.If people have something to hide then that would be of concern.I don't mind anyone seeing who i make friends with.Nor do i mind anyone seeing my status (up to date box).It makes for a safer site for us all.Pm's are different though so have to be private and as only friends can do it that is fine.

Not a problem, just a question:- is it possible to make multiple quotes when replying to a thread?

Hello. When will gallery thumbnails on Reserve homepages be working again please?
Can I also suggest that you add prominent navigation links to the relevant Community hubs on these pages, and vice versa? I have never understood the difference between Reserves and Places to Visit - very confusing. For example, why does Places to Visit > Arne not take me to the main Arne Reserve page?
***RSPB moderator edit - this has been logged***
Not sure what a "moderator edit" is but could I get a reply please? Do you have any sort of ETA for this bug fix?
It took me ages plus a PM to a friend to find out where 'Wildlife in the Garden' was hiding yesterday.
I'm sorry but why should Wildlife in the garden be in a completely different place to Wildlife on TV or Wildlife at your local reserve or Wildlife somewhere International. It's illogical
Best wishes Chris

I am in total agreement with this.
A consequence of this is that despite there being some really lovely threads and photos about birds and critters in our gardens (correctly posted in the "Wildlife in the Garden" forum), not many people are finding them, and many of these worthwhile threads are getting very few replies.
People who use the main Community Home Page for finding threads don't find them because of the sheer number of new topics posted every day from other forums and groups. They are quickly buried in pages 5 and 6 never to emerge again.
People who don't use the main Community Home page for finding threads on the whole don't know to look in the GET INVOLVED tab to find them. And why should they? GET INVOLVED infers information about getting involved with the RSPB, not wildlife in the garden.
I know this has been mentioned before as a problem, but it is worth repeating.
Cheers, Linda.

Hi yep we are listening, we're slowly working through all of the bugs and trying to get things organised in an appropriate way. You may have noticed that we now have a contact us and terms and conditions buttons on the bottom of every page and we have expanded the list of recent posts on the home page from 10 to 15. I have been reliably informed that more improvements are to follow shortly.
There's also alot of moving going on ;) keep getting emails telling my a thread has been moved.
It's both what you do and the way that you do it!

That would be me!!! Just doing a bit of a spring tidy up!
Thanks for the update Ian.
PS. The spring cleaning is needed - too many seem to think the CHAT section is for everything!
