Ladies and Gentlemen (and anything inbetween)
We have many posts with issues post upgrade, can we use this thread to collect them, more chance of getting things changed.
My biggest gripe, is the default resolution, the css frame is too large for the content (although very pretty)
Temp work around use the view function of your browser ( crtl and + will work on most desktop/laptops).
Mobile devices have their own way (usually a pinch on the touch screen).

Points about "Rich formatting"
This is not a term which is generally understood by users, and I've seen a lot of confusion about what this facility is and how it works.
There are no bold or italic buttons, though bold/italic text are likely to be among the things people most want to do - you have to know that you need to use to use Ctrl + B or I.
I couldn't find out how to cut/copy and paste text - I was told my browser didn't support the function.
When you go to set up a link, the word you have highlighted unnecessarily appears in the "Link URL" box, and you then have to delete it and paste in the required URL.
In contrast, the "Report Abuse" form includes all sorts of fancy formatting buttons - though I think it would be very unlikely that anyone would want to do anything other than enter plain text and perhaps, attach saved screenshots.
I'm in danger of getting into "and here's another thing" mode, but anyway, here we go........
Dates on blogs
Can these be changed to show the actual date of the blog, rather than n days/months/years ago?
Here's the reason. I'm a Loch Garten Ospreys group member, and a new chick hatched yesterday. This led to some discussion about hatch dates last year. The answer is in the May 2010 blogs, but if you look them up, this is what you see.
The dates all show as either "11 months ago" or "over 1 year ago" which is not exactly helpful in locating the one you want.
Sue these specific problems need to be reported on the Report a Problem log that Ian set up
Best wishes Chris

I don't think so, what Ian says at the top of Report a Problem log is that it should only be used to report specific technical problems. I've worked in systems & website development, so I understand that to mean instances where the system falls over and you get an error message, or things are clearly not working as the developers intended.
My 3 posts above aren't about technical problems. but design issues which make the system unfriendly. I thought the squish list was still the place for those?
Hi Sue,
I think what you are saying was the original intention, but since then Ian has said on at least one occasion to use the Report a Problem thread for other issues. If I could remember where he said it I would try to find it, but would probably fail to find it anyway!
Cheers, Linda.

Found it! It was in a thread caled "Put the forumback the way it was". Ian said:
If you do find a technical fault or have a problem with a specific part of the layout, let us know on the report a problem log and we'll make sure it gets looked in to.
Sorry - I can't go back and edit the typos.
Thanks. In that case then, this Squish List ought to be declared closed, and not "stickied" as an announcement.
IanH if you're around, it would be useful to have this clarified. Will pick it up later.
Hi Sue
There are several posts in that thread that are design issues about part of the layout, but I'm sure Ian will be looking at this thread too, as he can see there have been new replies
It is all a bit confusing as there are several threads regarding issues raised but i am sure the mods are reading all the posts relating to problems.Fingers crossed things improve for everyone.
Must admit i am finding it ok and certainly improving as we go.:0)
