Of course, these are entirely optional - you don't have to tell the world this info - but for some people it will be very welcome.

I know some people are absolutely terrified of bugs, but that's no reasons to squash them... you should be respecting every living creature not just birds! lol
Anyway, great that the forum is gettin' better!
'Dip a dee dah, dip a dee ay, we're not seeing any birds to-day...'
Great news, top stuff. look forward to the "new improved" forum ;-))
Feed The Birds....not the cats!!!!
I know....my spelling's crap !!
How exciting, a spring clean is just what this site needs.
Cannot wait.
Sounds great. Will look forward to finding my way around the new improved site.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn...

Thanks for the information Graham and just hope it will be fairly easy to operate and join in with present blogs like the LG Osprey pages. Not too aufey with IT jargon but hopefully will be able to navigate safely to the LG pages.
Let's hope it goes without a hitch and we can resume well before the 20th May when the first egg is due to hatch.

Well done Graham it does sound like it will be a big improvement, I'm sure between all of us we can get everyone up and running and share tips and advice with each other?
Don't worry Kezsmum any problems just chuck me an email at home and I'll try and help you out if I can....if I can't I'll ask someone else!!!...LOL
Looking forward to it....
Blimey...just when I'd finally got the hang of the little foibles of this place they go & get rid of them...typical !
All the changes sound positive but I am of an age & disposition where any change is very scary so may take me a while to get used to new things. Apologies in advance for blunders & bloops...there will be many !
SOunds like lots of good things coming our way!
:-)

Seriously thinking about trying harder!
I too will feel the need to 'hold hands' when the new is in force. No doubt there will be many queries to start with, but the helpful explanations on this thread will serve us well. Hope many users get to see them and take them in. There must be many who read threads a lot, but like me don't post much. We are the ones who might not know what we are doing for more than a few days (weeks!) when it starts. Still, good to see improvements coming. Top strapline announcement is a good idea - when I noticed it LOL.
Woo upgrade! I must say it is long overdue and hopefully it will mean the forum is quicker and more efficient. I'll have to make sure I'm working those days lol
