As you may be aware our website and community will be getting a hardware upgrade, this means significant improvement to the performance of the site, as part of our commitment to improve the quality of the community. This is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 14 December. The community will experience some down time from 6 am until lunchtime. We hope that this will go ahead without any technical difficulties, so fingers crossed we will have a faster and much improved place to talk about nature and wildlife. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you all your positivity.
Tom
Why not check out the news from the wildlife enquiries team?
I agree with everyone here that the site is so much faster now
Well done to all involved!!

Hi Tiger
I notice you posted this note at 9.57am. Considering Tom indicated that the site would be down from 6am until 12 noon I actually think they've done a great job getting it upgraded fast enough for you to be posting before 10am!!
Well done RSPB.

Just one little change I've noticed. I get e mail alerts when someone posts on a thread. All notifications since this morning are going straight to my spam folder instead of Outlook. This happened when the tests were happening a week or so ago too.

Thanks RSPB.
Fingers crossed it continues without any of the blips we sometimes experienced.
Cheers, Linda.
