Hi Folks
I was thinking today about an idea for a Forum (ifs it already been done I'm sorry).
How about a forum where you can post the place you are going to visit that day and why, this might encourage others to travel somewhere they have not been too before. It could also be a good way of meeting up with other members from here at certain reserves locations etc. I have often walked around reserves and seen other RSPB members (recognised by the coloured tags) walking around and have wondered do they come in here too?
This could be a good way for several to meet at the same place and same time and share our love for nature and in some cases your expertise (lacking here) with each other and making friends in the flesh not just on line.
Good Idea or not?

Hi everyone
Dave and I are going to Hunstanton either this weekend or next - due to a recent not so good thing not quite right with the car. It means a trip to Manningtree to drop the car of for its MOT, then a trip to Hunstanton to go to our favourite B&B. Then we are free to do as we please.
Hope to see the Turnstone's at Hunstanton like we did last year - they got so close to us and it was a great chance to photograph them. For those who have not seen our photos I have posted a couple for those who did not see the ones from before.
Titchwell Reserve will be on the cards if anyone wants to met up and Dave and I look forward to a chat, and a coffee for two with anyone who is interested, We are very nice people honest!

Its been a lovely warm sunny day here in norfolk, & where have i been!!!! WORK, (day 8 of 12 )
i sat outside for my tea break, & in the woods next to us the sun was high-lighting all the great autumn colour
of the leaves, i could hear a woodpecker in there, then a little flock of long tail tits flitted in for a moment,
a robin & a wren popped in to say hello, then blow me down a muntjac deer poked his head through the fence
&pinched the cats food.
so maybe it was not so bad being at work, i'll take my camera tomorrow, just in case !

I have heard they like to eat garden flowers and your garden is at risk of being destroyed too!
I know this post is titled "Where are we all going today" but in this case it should be tomorrow. I'm off to Rainham Marshes tomorrow (Tuesday) as they are having some good sightings of Bearded Tits and Water Rails (I have not ever seen these). I intend to get there for 10.00, M25 allowing, and the forecast is currently good so if anyone else is going there and wishes to meet up please let me know if you wish to meet up and go around together.
