I see there have been two previous requests for some sort of Photographic Forum, one in January and the other in June.
May I ask if this forum will become a reality as I wouldn't mind contributing to it as well as learning from it.
I don't think it needs to be a critique type forum as there are many of those specialist type of forums all over the web. But it could be a simple problem and assist part of the site i.e. Q. when I press the button this happens – why? A. You have to set it up like this.
Just thought I'd ask.

Shocked Al, so was I when I looked into it:
Mamiya or Hasselblad with a Leaf 60 megapixel digital back and a Schneider Kreutznach leaf shutter lenses. Or you could get a Hasselblad for just under £30000.00. But we're talking specialist studio equipment here.

Hi Richard
I also think it's a great idea, but I think that by now we all see you as an expert on wildlife photography as well as sports photography :-)
Best wishes Chris

Wildlife Photographer - Me - I wish ! Not enough experience yet, but I do wish I could give up the day job to be able to take photos full time.
Photographic Forum- "DONE" (said in the Gordon Ramsey way)
Thanks RSPB :-)
I was one of the ones that requested a forum here for somewhere we could post out pictures. I carry a camera evertime I take my dog out or every walk I go on. I get birds that I know the name of ( not personally like Dave etc. ) but would like to show them., This could also help in our photograky skills. Because I find that if you click on the pages thats linked in the post above they are from professionals and are book and magazine quality. I would like to post a pic and someone say " Gareth you should have done this or that with the camera "
I clicked the link on the post above and it sends us to the rspb picture gallery , Great, but when you click the drop down it has hundreds of pages.
I was hoping for a forum here for just us that actually post and read these pages . Maybe the web master / moderator could have a sell by date on them and remove the post to the main RSPB pages after say a month or less even.
