What about a thread for plant ID's on RSPB Reserves to help log the Biodiversity Could post pictures to ID the plants & Flowers ?
Visit http://www.ukwildlife.dial.pipex.com for Natural History Species and accounts
I think that would be a good idea {thumbs up}
There are many of us here who want to know our plant species
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Great idea :o)
An optimist sees the beauty of the complete rose.A pessimist sees only the thorn .
hi there
These pictures are from my recent trip out to one of my favourite Nature Reserves on the 2/7/2010
http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/forums/p/18685/133322.aspx#1333
For those who would like to read it, or have overlooked it
What are these?. The third picture was odd as it looked more like a tree sapling with small cream coloured flowers growing at the top.
Another link to get to know how plants live and what they do to survive

This is another way to know our Botany subject
Hi again Dave Kathy
You have Meadow Cranesbill of the Geranium Family and a Hedgewoundwort . The Yellow plant foxes me a bit looks like a Balsam
For plants the leaves mid lower and upper stems and flowers all give clues - you have given a date and a location which is also very helpful in arriving at a good ID
Best Wishes & Well Spotted
Thank you WLR for your answers with the ID's of the plants
Can I ask what the Balsam will grow into?. Will it be a plant or a bush/tree?
There was a lot of this type of plant growing everywhere in the area, and whatever it grows into there will be a lot of it.

That would be a great idea! I have lots and lots of flower photos with no name. Flower1.jpg - Flower2.jpg etc etc.
It would be great to have someone put a name to them......
