As you are all aware “ALTRPD – aka The old dragon” is sadly no longer with us. We are all agreed that this months Good Egg should be awarded to her for her kind and helpful presence and for her humorous posts. We know she will be sadly missed. All the moderators have been shocked and saddened by her passing and offer our condolences to her family and friends, I am sure you are all agreed a well deserved Good Egg.
Kind Regards

Thats just great news, Tom - thanks to you All at RSPB for honouring someone who will be sadly missed.
It was very sad to read the unfortunate news about the passing away of a fellow Forum Member.
But it is great to read the news that the RSPB Staff have honoured this loss with the Good Egg award.

Thank you moderators for going with this idea. It is a fitting tribute and appreciation of the Old Dragon's contribution to this forum and to the community bird garden she was so keen to create.
Couldn't agree more, it's a lovely thing to do :-)

Thanks to Ant for suggesting the idea and to the RSPB moderators for following it up. A lady who really did love all wildlife.
What a lovely gesture, I send my condolences to her family and friends.
