I am very interested in becoming a member of the RSPB. I know that this might not be the right place to post this message, but I am hoping that someone might be able to help me. I want to join by Direct Debit and I have seen on the website that the money can be taken out of my account on a yearly basis if I wish. The only problem is, I do not know how much it will be. I am on Income Support so any answers would be welcome.
Hi Emma its the best thing I ever did and I pay about £3.75 per monthly for a joint membership. Its a really cheap day out to great reserves and the knowledge of knowing you are helping birds and keeping fit!
Keep Norfolk for birds
Hi Emma, you can select a monthly payment of £3 by direct debit if this is easier than paying a lump sum all in one go.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
Hi Emma
Pinkfoot: That is how we pay our monthly payments by D/D {joint membership}
Just easier than yearly renewal {easily forgotten about}
Well worth the money anyday

Hi Emma,
Delighted to hear that you're interested in joining. There are many ways, DD works for a lot of people but it's up to you to decide what's best for you. You can do it online via the website but if you'd prefer a more personal touch why not call our office here in Banbury tomorrow on 01295 253330 - anyone here would be pleased to talk through the options with you and sign you up if you're agreeable.
Hope you do decide to go for it. Aside from the benefits of membership like entry to reserves, welcome gift, Birds magazine etc the main thing is simply that we could not do what we do without our 1 million plus members' support.
Thanks everyone else for your endorsements and encouragement!
Best wishes,
Colin
£3.75 per month for joint membership, a really easy way to pay and will give you lots of pleasure! Hope you decide to join. :-)

Thanks everyone for all your helpful advice. I appreciate it.
