I had two a couple of weeks back LOL
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
If its any consolation when the pair shown up here they were here all of 5 minutes and never seen again!
Never mind Sparrow.
I have to say I saw Fieldfares over a month ago and i have not seen any since.
Even a walk about observing peoples gardens is a sure guarantee in seeing them (that is where i got my first set of pictures of the headless Redwing LOL) oops!
Another way is to ID their call, which sounds a little like a Blackbird singing on Helion (through a tin can)
It is quite a loud call and I can hear Redwings flying over my garden at the moment {smile}

I'm not reading any more threads about redwings or fieldfares as they make me want to cry! (Unless of course I see some!!) LOL
