Can anyone recommend a CD of bird calls?
I'm pretty new to all this and it would be really useful me.
Hi birdybiker,
welcome to the forum.
There is literally dozens of bird calls / songs cd's.
Are you looking for any particular species!
May I suggest you try the following link: My personal choice for finding the best bird calls online!!!
http://www.xeno-canto.org/europe/index_static.html
you can listen to every bird song and call by doing a simple search.
The site uses a creative commons license which enables users to download the calls without any copyright infringements http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.5/
Hope this helps.

Hello birdybiker,
Welcome to the RSPB Community. I do hope you enjoy it, its a great place to learn new things, chat to folk and share ideas.
The RSPB has produced a bird sound CD, which I would recommend and I have attached a link below with more information on it.http://shopping.rspb.org.uk/p/BOOKS/British_bird_sounds_CD.htm
Do also check out our website as well, as we have sound clips for most birds on the species page for each bird.
