I have a robin nesting in an old shed that we are due to replace this summer. It’s unsafe and falling down. How do I know when it will be ok to do this, given the nesting situation? Obviously I don’t want to disturb anything but the shed does have to be replaced at some point before the winter.
I am guessing this is second or third brood? I suspect this will be its last brood, even if it's a first attempt in there. Lining up a replacement shed in Sept will be fine I'm sure.
