Where did your partner find this Great Tit fledgling, was it near to an obvious nest? It should be able to fly if it's fledged at the right time, maybe out too early but does need a parent bird to feed it ... try this organisation to find a rescue centre near you for some expert advice

A lot depends on what you meant by "found". Its a fledgling Great Tit and one of its parents would heave been off finding food for it and would've had to leave it alone for a while.
Maybe you should taken notice what I posted in a reply! But you took no notice!

It was in a different thread. It would probably help if RSPB had some useful tips and info about Fledglings up front on the main page at this time of year. It might actually be pro active and save a lot of these same questions being posted every day. I can understand people wanting help and advice and I can also understand that they don't want to be reading every post to see if any of them apply to their situation.
