I had a pair of Goldfinches on my bird feeders and noticed one of them had a silver ring on its right leg.
When I zoomed in on the ring I could just about make out ER32 going downwards. I couldn't see the other letters and numbers but I m just curious to find out if anyone knows any information on this bird ...maybe where it came from or about its journey ?

Hi tdowsett, in order to receive information back on a leg ring you would need all 7 alphanumeric code. If you take a series of photos and manage all 7 letters/numbers you will be able to use THIS LINK and the information will be passed on to the person who ringed the bird and receive in return the information about the bird; age, sex, where ringed, and if it has been seen and reported in other areas. Unless you get all the code accurately you will not be able to submit it. good luck.
