I want to put up some bird boxes in the garden, I have a few questions. The back of the house faces south so I believe is suitable for bird boxes. I would like to put up 5 or so boxes with 32mm holes for house sparrows, however we dont normally get them in

    Hi Ben, South facing not recommended as will become far too hot in the sun ... some info here ...

    I meant to say back of house is North Facing!!  Do you think it would attract house sparrows if we dont get them in the garden at the moment?

    I've set up a window bird feeder north facing, privacy film on the window means we can see them and they can't see us and get scared. We get multiple house sparrows morning s, afternoons and evenings I'm constantly topping up the bird seed.itvgreat to see them up close without frightening them away. Tried to add a picture don't think it worked.
