We had 2 nesting robins in our garden with 3 chicks. Unfortunately I found one of the adults being eaten by a magpie. The other adult has been back to the nest to feed the chicks but if it's the male, will it sit on the nest overnight if it's the female who's died? They have been great parents so far, nestingbin the most amazing of places, our curled up wall hosepipe!
